Working on the promotion of our File Hosting site this last week as we try to improve its presents in Google,Yahoo and Bing and it has stared to give us some good result in these search engines to main one is google this is because they account for about 70% of all searches carried out on the internet and hence this is the top priority.
We have found that people use the free facilities of the site 1st to see if it is reliable before they take out a payed membership which is natural i guess but its not good for us while we start it up as the vast expense of the servers while hardly any revenue comes in is slightly off putting and hence this is why many filehosting startups crash and burn after a very short time duration,but if you can come through the initial 6-9 months of high start up costs you have a very good chance of making some amazing money from these sites.
We had a few start up problems like unreliable hosting and the site carshng a few weeks back but that is behind us and we move forward to our next stage which is a slight alteration of the design to make it more modern but we could not do everything all at once as time was against us.
