Well we had some bad news last night that our server guy who has work with us for 2 years and help setup our sites has had to stand down due to health and personal problems and i was devistated with this news as he had become a personal friend as well as someone i worked along side.
So with this bad news i has to re-think what we have to do to over come this problem and as luck would have it i have found a replacement and he is from New Zealand so all though i have lost a good friend we will still keep in contact,but we have re-grouped and all is not as bad as 1st thought.
We have also had some interesting news from a friend who lives in Florida and he mentioned about setting up as a partner in a new website so that could be interesting and possibly spread the risk factor and expand our business interests,this i have to say in new territory for me as i have never teamed up with anyone else but its only for this one site so even if it goes belly up all we have lost is a little time and no money as such.
We are running a week or so behind with the url shortening site this is due to a few problems choosing which script to use but we have chosen one that will expand and not need replacing in say 12 months time.
After this problem last night and also joining in a project with someone else this has made me think about spreading our wings and get into a few more projects out side of cyberspace,the trouble with me and possible a big downfall is although i am not afraid of taking risks which you do have to in business but i am also a creature of habit and this i feel could be a tough challenge ut we will have a go and possibly good thinks may come from it.
